Some "Meganisms" for the holidays:
One day we were talking about what Santa might bring to Austin for Christmas, and I suggested maybe a bottle. She got so excited about this and ran out of the room. She came back and told me she had asked Santa for a bottle for Austin. I asked her what she had done to ask Santa, and she said that she knelt down and folded her arms and said, "Dear Santa, can you please bring Austin a bottle." I laughed....and then we had a little talk about the fact that we don't pray to Santa....he he he.
After Christmas I was doing her hair:
Megan: "I can't believe my eyes that elves can make rubber bands."
Mom: "How do you know elves made them?"
Megan: "because Santa put them in my stocking. That was so nice of Santa. He should get presents."
Mom: "Who would give Santa presents?"
Megan: "maybe Jesus."
