Here are some pictures from our family reunion up in Colorado (Sylvan Lake State Park). We left on Thursday evening, and ended up driving much later into the night that we had planned (there were no open motels anywhere). We drove through Monument Valley at night (we could still see the shadows of the huge rock towers, which was cool). We had all the fun...fishing, white water rafting, cliff jumping, rowing on the lake, spending time with the fam, enjoying the beauty, etc. Megan loved wandering around the cabin, eating smores and being doted on by all the aunts and uncles. She isn't as much of a water lover as her brother and sister, so she didn't really want to go in the raft or too close to the water while we were fishing. On the white water rafting day, I took the youngens and drove over to Vail (a pretty ski town) and we played at a fun park (with big boats to climb all over) and walked around the shops. After the reunion we headed over to Utah and saw our new niece, Brooklyn. What a cutie. Megan was so excited about how tiny she was. We also spent an afternoon with Grandpa and Grandma Dick and some other family. Then on our way home we stopped in Cedar City where the Sorensens was hanging out for the week, and spent the afternoon with them (Dad and Grandpa spent many an hour installing a new radio into Dad's car - while the kids played with on the swing set and with the dog). Then we headed home. We had a great time.
